I had a hour long commute. One morning I stopped at Hardees for breakfast and the voice at the drive through was amazing. This smooth talking, low voiced southern man took my order and then said, "Come around, Darlin'." Do you know I went back to that freaking Hardees every morning for a year? And I never saw the guy, just heard the voice. But I imagine him, I still do after 13 years! I asked my husband to call me Darlin' once, but he added the g and didn't sling it out low and soft like that, so I just let it die. Man. Is it warm in here?
